Unlike most large organisations, the average Managing Director/Owner (MDO) of a Small Medium Size Enterprises (SME) does not have an independent consultancy firm/or a board of Directors to turn to, to discuss decisions and plans for the future.

Most SME’s have an accountant, a bank manager and a solicitor. However, most of the time, these professions work independently of each other.

Unless the MDO employs other Directors or non-executive director’s to discuss issues with, he is left to make decisions about the company sometimes with little information/or any second unbiased opinions.

Aims

  • To act as an independent business consultant to the MDO and work with them to ensure they have the right information to make the right decisions for their business.
  • To ensure that the MDO is made aware of any possible advantages available to him from outside sources that he could benefit from.
